Ms. Ridley was arrested by Afghan Taliban few days before the US-led invasion of Afghanistan. After Taliban released her, she studied the Holy Quran, Understood its message for humanity, and reverted from Christianity Became a Muslim.
She has also delivered lectures on issues relating to Women in Islam, the War on Terror and journalism at universities across the U.S., Europe, Australia, South Africa and the Middle East.
